Made in the CSU campaign is a public awareness campaign that is designed to educate the public about the state budget situation, its impact on the CSU, and the importance of reinvesting in the largest university system in the Unites States as part of the solution to our economic woes.

For every  $1 invested by the state, the CSU returns $5.42 in economic impact. The CSU alumni make up 64% of California’s hospitality and tourism professionals, 62% of agriculture professionals, 54% of business professional, 52% of teachers, 45% of engineers, and the list goes on.

The 23 campuses of the  California State University (CSU) graduates 90,000 people into the workforce each year. These graduates are our teachers, nurses, farmers, engineers, law enforcement officials and business professionals. Most CSU graduates remain within the state for their career, driving the California economy in profound ways.
